Sadio Mane is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a winger for Liverpool and the Senegal national team.

Sadio Mane’s story is considered inspiring. Now a day most great soccer players’ talent was noticed when they were very young, and they live under limelight since then. Unlike the players who start up high and end up high, Mane wasn’t discovered when he was playing for youth team. He almost gave up his soccer dream when Metz scout watched his training game in 2011. The contract was life changing because Mane wasn't a France black. In deep Africa, millions of teenagers bet their dreams to overcome poverty on soccer balls, but few successes.

Mane started up low. In his first season, Metz was relegated from the Ligue 2 to Championnat National. But step by step, Mane gradually makes it to the top: now he is  the record holder striker in the premier league (scored 3 times in 3 minutes), and the most expensive African player in history at that time.
