Shinji Mikami is a game developer, he created Resident Evil in 1996. Resident Evil became the first game sold over a million copy, which made him a star developer for Capcom. Other than the Resident Evil series, he also led the development of heavy titles such as Devil May Cry, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Dino Crisis. In 2004, Capcom had a politics struggle, Shinji Mikami became a target. His team, the fourth development department, was converted into a subsidiary Clover Studio. The major work of Clover Studio was Okami. It was a great game, but it didn’t sale. In 2006, Clover Studio made its last game, God Hand. Again, it was a great game, but it didn’t sale.

In the case of Capcom’s huge losses due to Kenzo’s speculative failure, in the trend of attaching importance to commercial prospects and neglecting the quality of works, At the time when the president was doing everything possible to accelerate the familyization of the company, after the failure of God Hand, Capcom issued an announcement to dismiss Clover Studio in 2006. After leaving Capcom, Shinji Mikami started a new company, PlatinumGames Inc., and he rarely participants frontline development.

Obviously, Shinji Mikami has too much Metal. (5) is the only Water fortune in the Wood-Fire semicircle. Hence his success 1996 to 2006. 2004 was a Metal year (9), and Metal serves as foe, that’s why he lost in politics. In fact, Shinji Mikami’s life code is a pretty tangled one. Depend on the birth hour, the favor fortune could have been Wood-Fire or Water-Wood, which made the (5) fortune in between favor and foe. Even Water indeed serves as favor, (5) supports and merges (10) to Metal as foe. Which made the (5) fortune a good and bad together. 1996 to 2006 was the years he made achievements, but also the years he was in pain. I guess we cannot simply divide things into good and bad, sometimes they are both.
