Edith Head had too much Earth, so Water-Wood served as favor. (12)(1)(2)(3)(4)(5) are Water-Wood fortune, that’s why she was successful. 1(3) and 2(4) are the strongest Wood fortune, that’s why her peak was 1930s and 1940s. She died when entering the 6(8) fortune, because it was Earth on Earth as foe. Earth counters both Water and Wood, caused her death. She didn’t die in the Fire fortunes (6) and (7) because Fire overcomes Metal, and protected Wood. Otherwise Wood is under the attack of Metal. The cause of death was a bone marrow disease. Like I said, bone marrow is represented by Wood. She died because her favor element Wood was defeated.
