Obviously, the strongest element in Hsu
Shih-chang’s life code was Earth as Authority. How to control it? He had Wood (Talent)
to repress it, he also had Metal (Shield) to convert it. Obviously, Metal
served as favor. Because his Wood (4) merged (11) to Fire, and Fire supports
Earth. It wouldn’t be efficient to use Wood to repress Earth. The fact that he
was a scholar and politician is also a prove that he had Shield as favor.
Xsu’s early fortunes were Metal as
favor, that’s why he was very successful as a student: he won the Jinshi title,
which was highest and final degree in the imperial examination in Imperial
China. However, the Imperial China was going down, so the scholarship status didn’t
help him a lot. (8) and (7) are Fire fortunes as foe, he served as a consultant
of Yuan Shih-k'ai, not able to put his ability to good use. (6) is also a Fire
fortune. But (6) merges (10) to Metal, so he became the grand councilor of
state. 7(5) is the best fortune in his life, 7 is Metal as favor, (5) merged
and supported (10) to Metal as favor. He became the President of the Republic
of China in 1918.
Xsu enters Wood fortunes since 1921.
Wood served as foe for countering Metal. So he was forced to resign in 1922. He
died 1939, which was the (4) year in the (3) fortune. (3)(4)(5) formed a full
gather to Wood as foe, caused his death.
