Riquelme has super strong Fire as Strength, so Metal serves as favor for directing the excessive power out. I am not sure if Water can be a favor, because Water may cause violent clash since he has too much Fire. Depending on the birth hour, but more likely than not, Earth-Metal is better than Metal-Water. It’s like drainage ditch works better than big dam when the flood is too big.

In short, Metal serves as favor for Requelme. 7(9) and 8(10) are the two Metal on Metal fortunes, and that time period was his soccer career. Usually the entrance year of a fortune is the landmark year that significant change happens. He entered 7(9) fortune is 1992. It can’t be the start of his career, because he was too young. But 1992 was exactly the start of his youth career. 2012 was the end of his Metal fortunes, and it was basically the end of his career. Although his official retirement wasn’t 2012, but something happened in 2012 really put an end to his career pursuit. 2002 was the changing year from 7(9) fortune to the 8(10) fortune, so it was also a remarkable year: 2002 was the year he left Argentina and jointed European soccer.

Most people remember that Requelme’s performance in Barcelona after the transfer in 2002 was a disappointment. Was it because his style of play didn’t suitable for Barca? The answer is no. Barca just brought him in the wrong time. 2002 was a (7) year, (7) is the peak of Fire, and Fire serves Requelme as foe for he has too much. Requelme’s performance in 2003, 2004 and 2005 proved that he could do well in La Liga. In fact, his performance 2004 and 2005 are better than 2003. Because (9) and (10) years are Metal, (8) year is Earth that contains Fire. Weaken Fire is the center of the life code, and (9) and (10) are better than (8). Actually, the first time Requelme showed the world what he would do was in the Intercontinental Cup 2000. Makelele couldn’t catch up with him. 2000 was a good year because it was a (5) year. (5) is Earth that contains Water. It effectively weakened Fire and avoid direct crush.

Same reason Requelme has bad luck in the World Cups. Like I said, World Cups are always in the (3)(7)(11) years. They can all merge to Fire. Requelme did better in other tournaments, for example: he won the gold medal of Olympic in 2008. As we know, 2008 is a (1) year which is the peak of Water. In fact, Olympic is like the European Cup, it’s always in the (9)(1)(5) years. So people with Fire as foe are easier to win.

Requelme has very strong Strength and Talent, so he is extremely arrogant. Strength is ego and Talent is defiance. I think that’s the personality factor that made up his style. Because Xavi and Pirlo play the similar style, and Xavi’s life code is 6(8), 6(6), 3(11); Pirlo’s life code is 6(8), 4(2), 4(10). Not only all of them have Strength-Talent structure, all of them have Fire as Strength and Earth as Talent. So it’s not only they play similar style, they are similar person.
