Napoleon was not a tall guy because his self code
was Wood and his Wood was heavily weakened by strong Money and Authority. In short,
he was an overall weak that had Strength and Shield as favor. During his life
time, fortunes were gradually strengthening the power of his self code, and his
life should have been getting better all the time, right? Wrong! That was not
true and history has proved it. In fact, Napoleon early fortunes were pretty
serious weakening fortunes, but he made quite an accomplishment then. The last
step (4) provided his a strong root, but instead of having the best time in
life, that was when he dies. So what was wrong with our analysis?
It turns out Napoleon had a pretty unusual life
code. It was a loop of growth: Money of the year column supported the adjacent Authority
in the month column, and Authority supported the Shield above, and Shield
supported the nearby self code, and self code supported the Talent below it,
and Talent brought supporting back to Money. Napoleon’s self code was not
afraid of Money and Authority’s attack not because it was strong enough to take
it, but for the power of five elements was circulating like a river; when one
element increased in power, others also increased in power. 5(5) and 6(6)
fortunes were strong Money fortunes; most of Napoleon’s achievement was made
during these 20 years because Money was the source of the circulation.
So the five elements in Napoleon’s life code were
running in circle, which element was the weak link in the circle? It was 9 the
Shield. Money was strong for taking an entire column; Authority was strong for
taking the command; Talent was also not weak because it occupied a root. The
self code was weak and relied on the Shield, and the Shield didn’t have a
strong root and therefore became the critical point of the circulation. Napoleon
was dogged by failures since 1814 because the fortune 4 merged the crucial 9
and broke the circulation; (4) served as Blade, further increased the conflict
in his life code. He died in the 8(8) year.
This special structure is called “loop of growth”,
it’s rare because the owner must have all element, and the supporting code must be adjacent to each other, and there
couldn’t be any crush and conflict between adjacent codes. In an ancient
fortune telling book, there was a perfect example of this kind of life code:

The origin
of the loop is the commander code (6). (6) is Fire that merges and supports
Earth (2), Earth (2) supports Metal 8, Metal 8 supports self code 1 which is
Wood, Wood supports Fire 3 which sitting on strong stage (3). All elements have
roots and all codes are strong. What a priceless life code! Once you have a life code like this, you have no foe since all elements move together. The owner of the
life code is lost, it just recorded: he had great character, high status, lots
of money, 13 sons and he lived over 100 years.
Life code like
this was most highly praised by ancient Chinese: that would grant the owner a
good and steady life. But I don't like life codes like this because they
have no twist and turns in their life, in another word, they are sinecures. A life without struggle will never achieve
greatness.
