Zeng Cheng Jie was a Chinese businessman. He started empty-handed, struggled his way through, became a billionaire in a few years, and bitten the dust in his middle age. Such fate makes people can’t help but sigh with feeling: it is really important to know your fortune.

Normally the signature of businessmen should be Money, but in China most businessmen have strong Authority instead, this is because the business environment in China is different, businessmen are competing in the political level.

Zeng’s life code is a perfect example of two forces in battle, because his life code is four vs. four: 5, (11), (11) and (7) are on the side of Earth; 9, 9, 7 and (1) are on the side of Water. Generally the axis of Slaughter was stronger than the alliance of Strength, because (11) was taking the command.

Zeng’s early fortunes are 10(12) and 1(1). The two early fortunes were Water fortunes, that were the best time of his life. However, Zeng’s favor should be Metal. Water alone made the conflict more intense, and didn’t change the fact that Water was weaker than Earth.

The third fortune was 2(2). 2 merged 7 and became Metal, (2) is Metal Tomb. The main property of (2) is negative Earth as Judge. Judge was on the side of Earth, but it was a reasonable Authority, not as ruthless as Slaughter. Most importantly, (1) and (2) merge indicates some kind of settlement between Authority and Strength, so the force of Earth made a concession and let Water grow.

In 1983 was a 10(12) year, Water sitting on Water, the best year in the fortune. Zeng got a mortgage from a village credit union, and started to contract government projects. 1985 was a 2(2) year, wet Earth (2) in the year united with the (2) in the fortune weaken the power of Fire and strengthen the power of Metal. Zeng’s business was developed fast. However, (2) and (11) formed a punishment which represents trouble, dispute and lawsuit. In this year, he got caught for being reported embezzlement; he was posted a bail and wait for trial. This is his first jail time; he was behind bars for 3 months.

The next phase was the 3(3) campaign. 3(3) was a Money fortune, moreover, (3), (7) and (11) constructed a full merge to Money. Strong Fire support Slaughter indicates the obsession of money and money caused trouble.

1993 was 10(10), 10 and 5 merged and became Fire, (10) harmed (11), the year aggravated Earth, result in trouble, however, (10) was Guardian that would defuse Authority’s attack, so the life owner was not in danger. In fact, he was caught for bribery but exempted from prosecution. This is his second jail time; he was jailed for 6 months.

1996 was 6(4), Judge was sitting on Rebel. Zeng was in trouble again. This time, he was prosecuted for hiring mob to disfigure his business enemy. This case was also money related, for Rebel grown Money and discharged Strength.

43 to 52 he was in the 4(4) fortune. 4 the Money was what the self code always wanted (9 wants to merge with 4), (4) the Wood should be useful in controlling Slaughter, but it came with Fire, and joint the force of Earth (Wood grows Fire, Fire grows Earth).

2003 was 10(8), 10 was merged by 5, (8) merged with fortune (4), the power of Rebel reached the peak, Authority was suppressed temporarily. In this year, the life owner got the right to develop a big project, and started to raise funds from the general public.

2008 was 5(1), Slaughter appeared to repress life code while Shield was controlled by the Fire in fortune. Earth and Water fought face to face. In this year, Chinese government issued a document to accuse private funding. Officials and big investors got panic, they withdrew their principals and interest, caused a huge loss to small investors. Zeng was caught for fraud in financing. To ease people’s wrath, officials promised to sentence Zeng to death.

Form 53 was 5(5) fortune, the real killer (Slaughter) appears. In the previous fortune, the front line men of the Earth axis were Money, Judge and Talent that joint the Authority’s side (by growing Money). This time, Slaughter was sitting on Slaughter to fight Strength. So this fortune is when he dies.

2011 the 8(4) year, Zeng was sentenced to death. All of his personal property was confiscated. The penalty was to the maximum because the court sold his property at low price to compensate a government owned corporation, made Zeng unable to pay most of his creditors.

2012 the 9(5) year, Zeng was sentenced to death by the second trial.

2013 the 10(6) year, the Supreme Court upheld the conviction. Zeng was secretly executed in July (a Fire month) without the acknowledgement of his family members.
