Lu Xiang Sheng (卢象升) was a general of the Ming
dynasty. He died in a war against Jurchen. Obviously, he was too weak. Lu’s self
code was Fire and he had too much Metal-Water. (1) and (5) merges to Water, and
double 7s are Metal that supported Water. In another word, he had Fire as favor
and Water as foe. (6)(7)(8) are the three Fire fortunes, that was why he was
successful. He had too much Water as Authority, so his was successful as a
politician. He passed the imperial exam at the Jinshi rank (highest rank) in 1622
at the age 23. Chinese Imperial exam was extremely hard. There were only about 100
Jinshi in all of China every year, and imperial exam was the only upward pathway
for all of Chinese people, you can imagine the competition. I guess Chinese are
good at taking exams because it was built into our gene then. 1622 was a (11) year in the (7) fortune. (11) and (7) merged to Fire as favor. Anyway, his rank
was equalized to deputy minister of defense nowadays. The he entered (9)
fortune. (9)(1)(5) constructed a full merge to Water as Authority, so he died
in that fortune. The actual year was (2). Because the only root
of Fire was contained in (8). (2) crushed (8) and caused his death.
