Martha Graham was an overall weak for having too much Fire-Earth, and Metal-Water served as favor. You can see her Metal-Water fortunes started 1926, and if you see the Martha Graham’s Choreographies in a list, you will see the earliest one is Chorale (1926). And in 1936, she entered (1) fortune which was the peak of Water, so the most important works of hers were born in about this time: Primitive Mysteries (1936), Letter to the World (1940), Appalachian Spring (1944) and Night Journey (1947). Her final stage performances were in the 1960s, and then she worked mostly behind the stage. Because her Water fortunes ended in the 1960s. Water served as Strength. Strength represents oneself. People usually “do it oneself” in the Strength fortune.
Martha Graham lived 96 years, because her
favor fortune is late and long (she entered favor fortune in her 30s and her favor fortunes last 60 years, so she lived to her 90s). (2)(1)(12) are the Water fortunes, (11)(10)(9) are Metal
fortunes. She died after the Water-Metal fortunes in 1991. The fortune and
years are both (8). (8) is Earth that contains Fire. She had Fire-Earth as foe,
so it was the worst she could have.
