Zhang Xun was a Qing
loyalist general who attempted to restore the abdicated emperor Puyi in the
Manchu Restoration of 1917. Zhang Xun had (1) and (9) merge to Water, so Fire
serves as foe. He restored Qing Dynasty in July of 1917. It was the 3(7) month
of the 4(6) year in his (7) fortune. 3, 4, (6) and (7) are all Fire codes, led
to his short-lived success. He was given special amnesty after his failure 1918,
because 1918 was the (7) year in the (7) fortune. He never participated
politics again, but he earned a peaceful senior life and natural death. He died
1923/9/11. It was the (12) day of the (10) month in the (12) year. You can see
a clear pattern: it was all Fire when it was good, it was all Metal-Water when
it was bad.
