Queen Min formally known as Empress Myeongseong was an important political figure in Korea. She was the was the first official wife of Gojong of Korea, the twenty-sixth king of Joseon and the first emperor of the Korean Empire.

If Min was born in one of following three hours, 8(12), 9(1) or 10(2), her life code would yield to Water which served as Authority. Because she had no Fire at all, but all the Metal-Water and wet Earth. Judging from her life experience, that’s exactly the case. So Metal-Water served as favor, Wood-Fire served as foe.

Yield means surrender; Authority means political power, enemy and strong outside influence. So people who yield to Authority are usually politics focused. And they are usually good at assuming, borrowing power from outside. If you see these people in real life, you will find them very good at dealing with enemies and turning them to friends.

In the east, Queens were merely wives of the Kings. They usually don’t deal with political affairs. Queen Min probably was the only one who fought for political power. She was keen on politics because she was born with too much Authority. And she was a master of power leveraging: she was good at introduce outside power to wipe out her enemy. She introduced Japanese to against Daewongun; then she leaned to China to against reformist; then she leaned to Russia and eventually caused her life in a palace revolution of 1895. Queen Min’s assassination is called Eulmi Incident. Eulmi means 2(8). 1895 was a 2(8) year. Eulmi Incident means the incident happened in the 2(8) year.

The early fortunes of Min were Metal-Water, which is why she was selected from a civilian to be a queen. Then the fortune moved to Wood. The foe in Queen Min’s original structure was the Wood contained in (12). 1895 was a (8) year in the (4) fortune. (12)(4)(8) constructed a full merge to Wood. When a person yields to weak, the weaker is the better. Wood that served as Shield transferred power back to the self code, caused the collapse of the structure. That’s why she lost her life in that year.

If you go Wikipedia, you will find something’s wrong. In Wikipedia, Queen Min’s birth time is 1851/10/19. So am I wrong?

Well, in the original record, she was born on the 25th day in the 9th month of Luna Calendar which is another version of Islamic Calendar. That’s 1851/11/17 if you convert it to Gregorian calendar. Although the English page says 19 October 1851 was the birth day of Min; the Korean page of Wikipedia says her birth day was 1851 11 17. You don't have to know Korean to understand it means 1851/11/17. Obviously, the Korean have more credibility about their own Queen.

So where does the wrong date come from? Well, in a Korean fortune telling book, the life code of Queen Min was recorded: 8(12), 5(11), 5(9), 5(7). If you converted to Greg Calendar, it will become 1851/10/19. But this life code fits neither her life experience nor her birth record.

The knowledge of life code fortune telling was spread to Japan and Korea since we are in the same culture circle, so Japanese and Korean have their own books and even their innovation, such as this. I read those books. Compare to my level, their theories are rather primitive. I guess they never learned authentic fortune telling.
